Houndstooth began in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 1992 with a simple idea: make great T-shirts people want to wear.
Founder Michael Baker started by creating the artwork himself. After adding our first screen-printing press, we expanded into custom apparel for businesses, organizations, events, teams, and groups.
Our Story
As Houndstooth grew, so did our custom business. What started with a single press grew into a full in-house design and production operation.
Over the years, we continued to invest in our people, equipment, and production capabilities, building Houndstooth Press into a dedicated custom apparel business.

In 2026, Houndstooth Press became Houndstooth Custom and Houndstooth Greek, giving each side of the business a clearer focus and allowing us to better serve the groups we work with.
Today, Houndstooth Custom brings 30+ years of apparel experience, in-house design, and in-house production to every project.
